Q: Which is the difference between PRCA filled in by Supplier and the one filled in by Metro Admin?

A: Regarding the functioning of PRCA, it is important to note that the creation of PRCA is slightly different when it’s done from the Admin’s side versus the Supplier’s side:

- When PRCA is entered from Supplier’s side, they will always get RCA2=41 (Metro’s fault, in order not to affect the supplier’s OTIF) and the RC originally sent by the supplier will be stored in the master data.

- When PRCA is created from Admin’s side, you as Admin can select the specific Metro RC that you want to be displayed.

Applying this on a concrete example, your supplier can create the PRCA from his end and, no matter what RC he enters (for ex., RC 4), RC 41 will be displayed in SCOT (with supplier’s original RC 4 stored in master data).
BUT if you as Metro Admin create the PRCA, you can set RC 36 and this will NOT be replaced by RC 41. Your RC 36 will be shown in SCOT.
