Now the option to change the 2FA method can also be done by the any user for themselves.

The only prerequisite is that you can login to Metro Link plus at all.

This option is also to be used if you currently get the 2FA code by SMS and you only want to change the mobile number.

Within the Metro Link portal to change the 2FA method first click on the flyer next to your user name on the top right

Then please click on ‘Profile & Settings’

With that you are routed to the respective dialogue screen

In this screen to go to the 2FA change dialogue please click on ‘Change Login Preference’

This will open a new window which is the same as the one every user gets when they login first to Metro Link plus portal. The method that is currently set for your account is preset but of course you can change it here.

If you e.g. just wanted to change the mobile number for getting the code by SMS simply choose that option and enter the new number.
