The “Sustainability” section can be relevant to you in case -for example- of containing Soya, Palm Oil or any other ingredient that is defined in the Metro Sustainability Policy.

In the first field, it is important to indicate if there are any animal sources fed with Soy, as well as filling the rest of the fields in case of “Yes”, and to upload the respective statement document.

After this, in the “Certification Details” tab, depending on the information entered in the Recipe and Raw Materials section, the respective ingredients will automatically appear in this tab (retrieved from Master Data, and only when applicable)

Additional rows can be added or removed. For those mandatory, you can indicate if there is any Certificate, the Certification Level, additional details, and the respective Validity, attaching the Certificate before mentioned.

In the third tab, you will be able to upload certificates stating “other standards to be shown”, as it can be the example for those BIO-certified. This field can be selected from a drop-down list and is not mandatory.

In this example, the fourth tab will appeared because in the “Sustainability tab” the option “Is the soy origin from South-America?“ was selected as “yes”.

In the “Nutrition” section, the respective nutrition values must be entered.

The first field “Nutrition Template” will be prefilled by the Metro QA User according to the article type. This format can be changed depending on the need for thin-boxed products or some other special foods such as Wine, Bottled Water, among others.

Despite not being mandatory, the fields “Unit” and “Portion Size” are especially important since they are base of calculation for the next tab “Declared Nutrition”.

After filling the Nutrition information, please click on “Save” before moving to the next section “Declared Nutrition”.

In this section, the “Per Serving” calculation will be connecting the “Unit” and “Portion Size” information provided in the previous tab.

For the mandatory information, as a Supplier you will have to fill the values as “per 100 ml” which is a standard, while the rest of the table will be automatically calculated, including the “Per Serving” as a proportion of the input information.

After that, please click on “Save” before moving to the next section and please check the non-mandatory sections such as “Nutriscore” and “Nutritional claims”.

Then, in “Other Labelling Info”, some of the information will be given by the Metro team, but additionally you must select the correct information regarding “e-Mark”, “Producer Address”, “Weight”, and net & drained weight and Distributor addresses.

Additional information such as “Country Details” can be also added.

In the “Storage” section, the mandatory information includes the “Total Shelf Life (in Days)”, “Durability Statements”, “Production Date”, among others.

In the “Consumer instruction” tab, you must add the “Consumer storage conditions”, filling the information within the boxes of the selected statement.

“Consumer Usage Instructions” is a non-mandatory field where you can select the statement of your preference, but you have also the possibility to input a customized statement in the field “Consumer Preparation Instructions”.

Next, in the “Finished Product Standards” section, information about the Packaging, Appearance, Aroma, Texture and Flavour conformity must be described as free text fields, with alternative for Non-Conformity criteria, as well as Physical, Chemical and Microbiological Characteristics.

Finally, in the “Documents” section, you can upload multiple files, where the only mandatory one will be the one in the second row: “Production Flow Chart in CCP”. Additional documents can be added if desired, selecting the specific section to which it should be related.

After uploading, any document can be always deleted, just by clicking in the basket Icon.

After this, the task Fill QA section will be ready for submission, meaning it will be ready to be sent back to Metro.

Thank you very much for your attention.
