This article explains how to create new IDM system for a new Spaceman country.



Prepare relevant files

You will find below files that need to be send to the IDM team.

  • Example from DE and JP: J:\Select&Source\40 Sourcing Support\02 Supported Services\10 Spaceman\03 Documentation\User Management\IDM\New IDM System (example DE and JP)

List of systems to be added in IDM and respective AD groups

  • Please include information regarding the NEW systems only
  • Example: J:\Select&Source\40 Sourcing Support\02 Supported Services\10 Spaceman\03 Documentation\User Management\IDM\New IDM System (example DE and JP)\Systems and AD Groups_DE_JP.xlsx
  • An overview of all countries can be found here: J:\Select&Source\40 Sourcing Support\02 Supported Services\10 Spaceman\03 Documentation\User Management\IDM\Countries Overview (IDM systems, description, AD groups).xlsx

List of used roles

  • The IDM used roles in Spaceman can be found here: J:\Select&Source\40 Sourcing Support\02 Supported Services\10 Spaceman\03 Documentation\User Management\IDM\Spaceman Roles_IDM.xlsx

List of current users (one tab per country)

  • Please include all Spaceman Standard users/roles (J:\Select&Source\40 Sourcing Support\02 Supported Services\10 Spaceman\03 Documentation\User Management\IDM\Spaceman Stadard Users_IDM.xlsx)
  • Please include all country users/roles (to be checked in Spaceman application)
  • Example: J:\Select&Source\40 Sourcing Support\02 Supported Services\10 Spaceman\03 Documentation\User Management\IDM\New IDM System (example DE and JP)\Users_DE_JP.xlsx

Ceate a JIRA Ticket

Please include all files prepared in the previous step.

Dear Colleagues,
Could you please help me to create XXX new Spaceman IDM systems?
Attached you find:
-List of systems to be added in IDM and respective AD groups (AD Group need to be filled automatically within the user creation process) -List of used roles -List of current users (one tab per country)
The approval process for all systems is: Manager Approval + System Owner Approval
All systems need to be visible for all Metro employees.
