1.1 Do I need a user to access MAC?
Yes, you need a user.
Internal users:
a. Can use SSO login. By default only 'reader'-rights are granted (no permissions to upload, to copy, to edit).
To extend permissions please get in contact with the MAC Support Team ([email protected]).
b. Can use 'user name - password' login.
Please get in contact with the MAC Support Team ([email protected]) to receive a password and proper user rights.
External users:
The contact person from METRO Cash & Carry should get in contact with the MAC Support Team ([email protected]) and request access for the external user.

1.2 Which roles do I need to manage content in MAC?
It depends on the actions that a user needs to perform, please see details below.

- Content Reader: can only observe/read, download content.
- Content Editor: can observe/read content, download, upload, edit, send content for approval.

If you need to search 1-by-1:
You can do it in 'Product Asset Space'. Here you can apply filters, e.g. you can apply: country (one/many), asset type (Planogram Image and/or Product Image) etc.

3.2.1 How can I make a small amount of images available (< 50 images)?
Option 1:
Copy images 1-by-1, for this you need to enter asset name in MAC naming convention and as well you should have Content Manager permissions.

Important: for some countries, product assets will be approved automatically. For other, the Content Manager should approve assets. Only after approval assets will be published, i.e. available in Spaceman.
Option 2:
Download images and upload them via MAC Upload Assistant (covered in item 2 above).
3.2.2 How can I make a big amount of images available (> 50 images)?
It might be an option with downloading and uploading via MAC Upload Assistant (covered in item 3.2.1 above) or by getting in contact with MAC Support Team ([email protected]).
Please note that in case the MAC Support Team will do it, processing of the ticket can take several business days.
4. If a country has any request regarding MAC, how to proceed?
Please get in contact with the MAC Support Team ([email protected]). Such kind of requests (e.g. feature requests) will be processed in accordance with the MAC Team priorities and discussed with the MAC Product Owner.
