Output Designer Templates are created in Spaceman Professional. These templates will determine how the planograms are published and which kind of information is sent to the stores. Output Designer Templates are key for the communication on all levels in the Metro Organization.
In this article you will find 3 different steps: How to edit an existing Output Designer Template, how to import it into Reports, and how to import it into Publishing Decks.
Edit the template
- Please click on “Spaceman”
- Click on File → Output Designer
- A new tab will pop up
- Click on File → Open
- Look for your country folder and select the file to open it.
- The output designer template and its related Reports is stored in the country folder, under S:\COUNTRY_CODE\1Reporting_Templates
- Save the template after editing.
Import your edited template into Reports
- Go to Reports
- Click on Manage Templates
- Click on “+” to add the edited template
- Look for the template on the country folder, select it and click on “Next”
- Edit the name of your template, add the group name, select an icon and click on “OK”
- You can afterwards delete the old template by selecting it and clicking on the “X”
Import your edited template into Publishing Decks
- Click on “Publishing”
- Click on “Manage Publishing Decks”
- Select the desired Publishing Deck and click to edit it
- Click to add an “Output Designer Template”
- Select an available output designer template, click on the arrow, click on “OK”
- You can delete old output designer templates within the Publishing Deck by clicking on the “X”
