In can you face issues to login into ARP, kindly have a look ate the information below:

  • The login has to be identically to the Windows login (user & password). The login is not checked by ARP, it is checked directly against the Active Directory

  • If the login is working, but only grants are missing, it could be, that the maintained email address in ARP is not identically to the Active Directory user
    • In ARP, the Active Directory user has to be inserted, not the email address. As many users do not know what is meant by Active Directory user and because usually the email address is identically to it, we kept the description "email address"
    • In case you are not sure about your Active Directory user, please enter on your local client, in the command line (you can open it with cmd) the command: Whoami /upn. You should use the user shown for logging in into ARP

  • Make sure the needed CMAs are assigned to the user
  • Make sure to add only the relevant access rights for the user
  • Make sure you use the correct login link, as it should match with the internet browser used (Internet Explorer or Chrome/Mozilla).

Please note that even without any user configured in ARP, the login into ARP should be possible. Only the access rights are configured with the user creation in ARP.
